Number Plates
M.A.C Tyre Centre are authorised to make and supply number plates and are registered on the DVLA Register of Number Plate Suppliers.
We can make your number plates while you wait, it only takes a few minutes. You can choose from plain plates or GB plates and all number plates are supplied with a choice of fixings.
Number plates are made to BS AU 145d which are legal for use on the road. We can also make show plates for car dealers, car show enthusiasts etc.
Before we can make your number plates, you are required by law to provide 2 items of documentation. Please bring 1x ‘Proof of Identity’ and 1x ’Proof of Entitlement’ from the lists below. If you are in any doubt what documents you need, just give us a call on 01795 666603.
Proof of Identity
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Utility, Telephone or Council tax bill
- Bank or Building Society Statement
- Passport
- Debit or Credit Card
- Police Warrant Card
- Armed Forces ID Card
Proof of Entitlement
- Registration Certificate (V5C) (preferred)
- Tear off slip (V5C/2) section 10 of the V5C
- Certificate of Entitlement to a Mark (V750)
- Cherished Transfer Retention Document (V778)
- Vehicle Licence Renewal Form (V11)
- Temporary Registration Certificate (V379)
- Authorisation Certificate (V948) with Official DVLA stamp
- Authorisation letter from Fleet Operators (including a Lease Hire company) quoting the document reference number from the V5C
